The Colorado Will Package
The Colorado Will Package is our base package which includes the four primary estate planning documents: (1) Last Will and Testament; (2) Durable General Power of Attorney; (3) Medical Power of Attorney; and (4) Living Will. It also includes Burial Instructions and Organ Donation Authorization.
By preparing a Last Will and Testament (“Colorado Will”), you decide who receives your assets. Without a Colorado Will, the state of Colorado decides who receives your property. A Will also enables you to designate a Conservator and a Guardian if you have minor children.
In case you are not able to make important financial and medical decisions for yourself, the Colorado Will Package helps keep you out of courts during your lifetime as you designate, in essence, a Conservator (through your Durable General Power of Attorney) and a Guardian (through your Medical Power of Attorney).
The final three documents includes a Living Will which allows you to state, in advance, your medical desires if you are ever on life support as well as Burial Instructions and an Organ Donation Authorization.
