About Us

Clinton L. Hooker started coloradoetrust.com to provide a comprehensive estate planning option for Colorado residents at a fraction of the cost of a traditional Colorado law firm.  For many people, they delay or refuse to get an estate plan due to the cost, the time involved or the inconvenience of traveling to and from a law firm.  At coloradoetrust.com, we are working to remove those impediments so everybody can have the proper estate planning documents in place to protect their family and their assets.  Our process allows individuals and married couples to prepare the estate planning questionnaire in the comforts of their home and at their leisure, enables everyone to ask questions at any time and entitles people to get a top of the line estate plan only offered by a few specialty law firms in Colorado.

Clinton is a licensed attorney who has gained extensive experience in estate planning, taxation, probate and trust administration while working for two prominent estate planning and settlement law firms.  Clinton has a strong background in tax law and earned a Masters in Law (LL.M.) in Taxation at the University of Denver’s Graduate Tax Program in 2002.  Understanding how the tax laws can affect a family’s inheritance can be vital in properly preparing an estate plan.  In addition, Clinton co-wrote and co-presented a seminar on trust administration titled “Practical Aspects of Trust Administration in Colorado” for the National Business Institute.  Clinton takes his experience in tax law, estate planning and estate settlement and tailors an estate plan according to each person or family’s needs.
